Miss Kristen Strickland grew up in San Diego, CA and began dance at the age of three. She found it unenjoyable and boring and quit after discovering how itchy her costume was, but she rediscovered dance at age twelve and has been dancing ever since! After moving to Arkansas in high school, Miss Kristen stayed dedicated to dance, joining a local dance studio, attending dance competitions, and eventually started teaching her own classes. After high school, Miss Kristen attended Missouri State University and majored in Art Education and Dance Performance. While in college, she performed with Inertia Dance Company, specializing in elementary school outreach emphasizing literacy through dance. After college, Miss Kristen taught elementary art with Springfield Public Schools, encouraging her love of creativity. For the past six years she’s been employed at Dynamics Gymnastics as their dance director, working to create a fun, engaging, successful dance program. After relocating to Buffalo, MO and the birth of her first child, she’s excited to embark on her new studio in Fair Grove. Her balance of creative exploration, technical excellence through structured curriculum, and character building has created many strong, artistic, self confident dancers and young adults. She’s thrilled to bring her love of dance to Fair Grove!

Miss Kaytlynn has been assisting/teaching kids of all ages since 2011 in various styles of dance. Miss Paige began dancing at the age of 3, and quickly fell in love. She filtered through other sports but knew her heart belonged to the dance floor. Soon after, she began competitive dancing in St. Louis MO, where her dance journey truly began. After 2 studio switches, she trusted Technique Master, Emily Fagan, in the opening of a brand-new dance studio, and became an original member of Arches Dance Company in 2010. Joining Arches was a pivotal point in her confidence and dance career. As she braved the unfamiliarity of a new team jacket, she determined to improve on her technique, stage performance, and leadership. She danced competitively with Arches for the next 5 years. Each year Paige performed in 10+ dances, including duets/trios, small groups, large groups, production numbers, and two solos. She excelled specifically in musical theater, jazz, contemporary and tap. After graduating high school, she took a break from dance, and attended the University of Missouri-Columbia. After her sophomore year at Mizzou, she decided to transfer to Missouri State University to pursue a minor in Dance Performance. She also cheered with the Diamond Girls for the Missouri State baseball team for a year. In the Summer of 2018, Paige landed her dream job at The HolyLand Experience in Orlando, Florida, where she danced professionally. Now, Paige is excited to bring her passion for mentorship, stage performance, and technique to Elevation Studio and cannot wait to meet the dancers!
